Zachary Knight is a graduate of the University of Alabama with degrees in International Studies and Russian Language. He developed his passion for international development while serving in the United States Peace Corps in rural Madagascar. Throughout his two years in country he gained an intimate knowledge of the people and problems of Madagascar.
It was his desire to return to help the Malagasy people that led him to the Elevatus Foundation in 2016. After a summer working with Elevatus in Madagascar he was invited to join the board where he currently serves as Secretary. Mr. Knight brings to the board his experience with DC-based non-profits and sustainable ecotourism operations with community development elements. He currently lives and works in Madagascar.
