Prior to Lacee's appointment as Executive Director, she served as Executive Vice President of Elevatus Foundation’s board from 2011–2014. She also is a member of Elevatus Foundations's general board. Lacee is also one of the original founders of Elevatus. She received her Master of Public Administration and Juris Doctorate from the Marriott School of Management and J. Reuben Clark Law School. She specializes in international law and nonprofit management.
Lacee has worked in Madagascar on various projects including affordable housing, fair trade retail, and education. Lacee also has lived and worked all over the world, from Sydney, Australia to Budapest, Hungary. She is an avid women’s soccer fan. She also enjoys hiking in the mountains with her German Shepherd puppy.
